Hmm, it seems I am about to join the masses and start a blog. A very busy life and the need to express, elaborate, document my life has led me to this point.
I called this blog "Along the River" because I was born along a beautiful peaceful river in the New Brunswick woods. I've always had a love of the ocean and rivers and felt a sense of calm and peace when I'm near them. I think I want this blog to create in me the same feeling I get then.
Some write to be witty, charming and outrageously hilarious. I want to be honest and try to capture what infuriates me, what I love, what brings me to tears, what I care about, what moves me. It could be a story, could be a rant, could be a poem, could be one line, one word, writing is the plan.
